“Black on Black” introduces the Bronx and Harlem’s youngest in charge – Denzil Porter and Square Off who include Trips and Slims, the sons of legendary Doug E. Fresh.
As soon as Ted Smooth sent Denzil Porter the beat, he went straight to work. It was recorded the next morning. Suiting the title well, everything in this video is black on black from the clothes, the cars and the whole vibe. With its gritty lines, smooth yet aggressive style, heavy drum line and dark Italian Mafia feeling, “Black on Black” definitely makes you feel like a young boss.

Denzil Porter, formerly known as “Young Flame”, grew up in the north Bronx, NY with a passion for Hip-Hop music from a young age. In high school Denzil Porter began freestyling and battling, defeating all competitors. In 2004 Denzil Porter founded WreckHouse Entertainment, which produces music out of his in-house studio and hosts parties and events.
